由贵州中医药大学中医养生学院黄书婷博士、曹峰教授主持的英文线上慕课——“Chinese Tea – a Method of Health Preservation(中国茶与中医健康)”,依托慕课出海机制走进包括印度尼西亚在内的海外线上课堂,推动贵州中医药与茶文化通过数字教育走向国际。

Led by Dr. Huang Shuting and Professor Cao Feng from the School of Health Preservation at Guizhou University of Traditional Chinese Medicine, the English online course Chinese Tea – a Method of Health Preservation has entered overseas online classrooms, including those in Indonesia, through China's MOOC "going global" initiative. The course exemplifies how Guizhou is using digital education to bring traditional Chinese medicine and tea culture to international audiences.

贵州是中国重要的中医药资源省份,茶文化底蕴深厚。在长期实践中,中医理论与饮茶养生形成了紧密结合,通过科学饮茶、合理用茶,实现调理体质、防病养生、促进身心平衡的目标。《中国茶与中医健康》课程以“茶医融合”为核心,系统阐释茶在中医理论体系中的养生价值,将中医药食气味理论、“三因制宜”养生原则和“六字诀”养生功法等内容有机融入教学体系。

Guizhou is one of China's key regions for traditional Chinese medicine, with a long-standing and deeply rooted tea culture. Over time, TCM theory and tea-based health practices have become closely integrated, emphasizing scientific tea consumption as a means to regulate the body, prevent illness, and maintain physical and mental balance. Centered on the concept of "integration of tea and medicine," the course systematically explains the health-preserving role of tea within the TCM framework, incorporating core concepts such as the theory of food properties and flavors, the principle of treatment tailored to individual, seasonal, and regional conditions, and the Six Healing Sounds (Liu Zi Jue) health practice.

作为贵州省省级金课,课程在教学设计上注重理论与实践结合,通过纯英文授课方式,将源自贵州实践的中医养生方法转化为海外学生听得懂、学得会、用得上的健康知识,引导学习者理解中国式健康观念,让中国茶从文化符号走向可融入日常生活的健康方式。

Recognized as a provincial-level "gold course" in Guizhou, the program emphasizes the integration of theory and practice in its instructional design. Delivered entirely in English, it translates health-preservation methods rooted in Guizhou's local experience into knowledge that overseas learners can understand, apply, and incorporate into daily life, helping them grasp the Chinese approach to health and wellness and view tea not merely as a cultural symbol, but as a practical lifestyle practice.

依托慕课出海和中印尼数字教育合作机制,该课程入选学堂在线高水平课程,并走进印度尼西亚高校课堂,以全英文教学方式向海外学生系统介绍中国茶文化与中医养生理念,推动中国健康智慧在国际课堂中落地传播。

Supported by the MOOC global outreach framework and China – Indonesia digital education cooperation mechanisms, the course was selected as a high-level program on the Xuetang platform and introduced into Indonesian university classrooms. Through systematic English-language instruction, it presents Chinese tea culture and TCM health concepts to international students, enabling Chinese health wisdom to take root in global learning environments.

2025年,课程团队入选教育部语言文字信息管理司公布的“中华文化优秀课程多语种数字化全球传播计划”团队名单,旨在打造一批多语种数字化中华文化精品课程,持续提升中华文化的国际传播力和影响力。

In 2025, the course team was selected for the Multilingual Digital Global Communication Program for Outstanding Chinese Culture Courses, launched by the Department of Language Information Management of China's Ministry of Education. The initiative aims to develop high-quality multilingual digital courses that enhance the international reach and influence of Chinese culture.

课程团队负责人、贵州中医药大学中医养生方法技术研究中心主任黄书婷表示,下一步将围绕中国茶与中医健康持续深化课程体系,开发进阶课程并推进多语种版本建设,拓展国际传播渠道,为讲好中国故事贡献具有贵州特色的中医药智慧与健康方案。

According to Dr. Huang Shuting, head of the TCM Health Preservation Methods Research Center at Guizhou University of Traditional Chinese Medicine, the team will continue to strengthen the course system, develop advanced modules, and expand multilingual versions, while broadening international communication channels—contributing Guizhou's distinctive TCM wisdom and health solutions to telling China's story to the world.
